This engine was later upgraded in 2015 with the facelift to 444 hp (331 kW). We’ll touch more on engine performance in the “performance” section below.

Dec 14, 2016 · At the end of June I bought a used 2005 A6 3.2 Quattro with 123K miles. It is now at 126k. For most of the summer & the fall this car ran very well with no problems at all. I just did regular maintenance; fluid refilling, tuneup, etc.

May 12, 2020 · The test failed and stated battery defect (see attached photo). My Audi A6 is only 3 1/2 years old. The Audi Technician did state the original battery was notorious for having issues with a certain batch produced. A new battery was purchased and fitted by the Audi Technician and the BEM code was uploaded to the car. This cost me £256.51.

Oct 6, 2019 · The new compressor recharged the accumulator tank and springs with air. Drove the car for a few miles while logging Level Control system info and found that the air pressure readings looked incorrect. I replaced the air solenoid valve block (with embedded pressure sensor) (4H0-616-013-B), and muffler (4G0-616-095-B) with OEM.

Aug 31, 2020 · 3. Lift out the spare wheel cover. 4. Remove the spare wheel retaining nut and remove the spare. 5. Locate the battery. Some older models will have a large hold down bracket that covers the battery, this will need to be removed. 6. Using the 10mm spanner loosen off the nuts off the hold down bracket and remove it.
